Dec. 9th, 2005 05:52 pmSo, my first term at university ended today. Probably should have updated more than once in that term.
But here's an update now, so that's good then?
I moved in sometime at the end of September, into the best accommodation on campus. I get my own bathroom and hi-speed network connection, as well as a huge kitchen and common area for 6. I am very lucky.![[livejournal.com profile]](https://www.dreamwidth.org/img/external/lj-userinfo.gif)
broken_wings217 has no common room, the smallest kitchen ever, and no shower - only a bath. But anyway, sometime in that first week before term started we went to see Maseo from De La Soul play at a local club managed by one of my flatmate's brother. Was so the best night ever. I'd say more on that, but it was almost two months ago now, so yeah.
My courses were generally good, and I managed to do well despite a good amount of ... um ... drunken revelry. Lots of drunken revelry.

So, yeah. Drunken revelry. But I've been doing well, so it's okay. My flatmates are generally cool, though can be insane at times.broken_wings217, who I met through LJ before uni is really cool, as are most of her flatmates and friends (except that insane one, she knows who I mean ... Swedish people will now forever scare me). Have also been spending time with teh titanic_days, which has been fantastic. Also saw GoF in London with t00bs, which was both good and bad.

Okay, I could write a lot more, but it's just getting long and insane now. Had wonderful night last night with Rachel and co. for Jazz/Funk night at Casablanca with £1 tequila shots. Whee. And Alexyboo coming down right now to take me to Londonium. Am back in USAland 13-23 December. Hope to see local t00bs then.
I have been reading friends list, but a lot of the time it was just a cursory scan with stops only on important things. So, what's been happening with everyone that I might have missed?
